I'm back with a new recipe!

Hey everyone! Sorry I forgot all about my blog! Here's a recipe that my mom makes me once and a while. If I'm lucky. Please coment if you tried this dish at home. 


         Breakfast Pie

Ingredients: 

8 slices bacon, cooked crisp
1/2 C cornflake crumbs
1 T . Bacon drippings
5 eggs
2 1/2 C frozen hash browns
1 1/2 C shredded Swiss
1/2 C cottage cheese 
1/3 C milk
1 green onion, thinly sliced 
1 t . Salt
1/8 t. Pepper

Cook and crumble bacon, set aside. Mix cornflake crumbs with the 1 T
bacon drippings, set aside. Beat eggs until foamy. Stir in potatoes, Swiss
cheese, cottage cheese, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Pour into greased 
9 in pie pan. Sprinkle with crumb mixture and bacon. Cover. Refrigerate 
Overnight or uncover, bake at 325 degrees 50-60 mins until knife comes 
Out clean. 

Servings: 6-8

I'm here

I finally made it to my new house! My family and I love our new house!
We have met some really nice people. Like our new nighbor. His name is Mr. Frank. He's an old guy
who is really sweet. Then there a little boy name Miles. He very funny and nice. He's 8 almost 9.
And then there are really nice people who live on our left side. They have two dogs and three kids.
One of their kids is a girl who is 15. She awesome! 


Also I'll post a new recipe soon! Peanut Butter Cookies! And Snickerdoodles

Big News!

My dad got a phone call today at 10:00 saying that he got the job.
We are moving to North Carolina. July 14 is when my dad has to go to his new job so we
are moving July 11- 12.

Tuesday Breakfast

Amish Breakfast Puffs

Ingredients:
1 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. Salt
1/4 t. mace ( or nutmeg )

1/2 C sugar
1/3 C vegetable oil
1 egg
1 t. vanilla

1/2 C milk
1/2 C sugar, 1 t. cinnamon
6 T. melted butter

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and mace, set 
aside. In a bowl, beat together sugar, oil, egg and 
vanilla on med. for 30 sec. Add the flour mixture
and 1/2 C milk alternatively to egg mixture. Beat on
low after each addition just until mixed. Fill 10-12
greased muffin cups ( do not use paper ) 2/3 full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min or until lightly 
brown. In another bowl, combine sugar and 
cinnamon. Remove muffins while hot, roll in melted
butter and then in cinn/sugar mix. Serve immediately.

Day at the pool!

Then here's me with one of my best friends! Her name is Anni.
She's from Guatemala, and she was adopted when she was just born.
She was born with a different sister named Kristen ( one of my other best friends.)

My Life!

My life is pretty cool! I live on a farm and are probably going to move soon to North Carolina.
I have a dog, a rooster, and chickens. Today we sold our lizard to a very nice family. I have two sisters and one brother. My older sister Ashley is married and live in Colorado. My brother is in his first year of collage. So it's My little sister and I. I am 12 years old and my little sister is 11. We are one year and three months apart. We are best friends. Even though we fight and yell all the time we still love each other very much. Then I have my parents. My mom is Angie and my dad is Mark. My mom has a blog it's  angiesablib.blogspot.com   it's a great blog.   ~Katie
